Sunflower Flax Granola.
Preheat oven to 300*F.
Mix Dry:
Five cups of rolled oats.
Two thirds cup of ground flax.
One cup sunflower seed “meats”…
One half cup sliced almonds.
Two teaspoon sea salt.
One teaspoon ground cinnamon.
Mix Wet:
Two thirds cup of all natural applesauce.

I busted out last summers’ juicer and found this to be my new favorite.
Three carrots
One lemon
Two apples
A small hunk of red cabbage
Two fingernail sized pieces of ginger

Buck And The Great Outdoors.
This morning, while tending to the garden, I decided to try out my cat harness on Buck. He hardly noticed me squeezing his arms through the small loop holes, while he continued to harass Willow. Being without a proper leash, I tied an RF cable around the harness and around my belt loop. I’ll have to come up with something better next time…

Black Beans & Barley
Start by cooking about one cup dry barley (which will yield about two or three cups).
Sauté one diced onion with some minced garlic.
Throw in a handful of whatever vegetables you have on hand (carrots, corn, broccoli, peppers, etc.)
Add some sea salt and let everything cook for a few minutes.
