This morning, while tending to the garden, I decided to try out my cat harness on Buck. He hardly noticed me squeezing his arms through the small loop holes, while he continued to harass Willow. Being without a proper leash, I tied an RF cable around the harness and around my belt loop. I’ll have to come up with something better next time…
He was nervous to step out on to the porch and immediately turned back, so I scooped him up and together we went outside, in to the backyard. He crouched low to the ground and scurried about, then started howling! Buck is incredibly headstrong, never exhibiting any signs of fear, remorse, learning, etc… so it was especially startling to hear him cry so loud. I’d really like to make the backyard/ garden area comfortable for myself and the cats, so we have a place to relax this summer. Any suggestions on how to ease the cats in to the great outdoors?
