A night at the Opera?
Yes, last night I was granted a complimentary seventh row seat to the Chicago Symphony Orchestra to see Michelle DeYoung and Falk Strukma preform Béla Bartók’s ‘Bluebeard’s Castle’. It was incredible.
For the length of the show I sat in awe of the beautiful, delicate precision the orchestra displayed. It was both inspiring and humbling to see such a peaceful, skillful, perfect collection of artists preform such a dark and poetic tale. I’ve really never heard or experienced anything like it.
Thanks for the tickets Michelle!
