I just finished editing all of the drawings for my hermit book! John helped me scan them on his amazingly huge, high quality, art school scanner for geniuses. They look so good!
I only just realized how much fun it would be to redraw some of my older work in my current style… I’m so excited!!!
I finally got my scanner back, but apparently it’s pretty terrible at working with graphite drawings. Even after much fine tuning in photoshop, there’s tons of detail lost. I normally don’t need to scan graphite illustrations, but I’ve already done most of my next book in pencil… Arrrrggggh
I’ve been trying to use my little watercolor set more lately. It’s coming along nicely, but drawing from pictures is always easier. Now to take them into the field will be a horse of a different color…
